TKA Online - The Accredited Christian Online High School For You
Online learning has grown dramatically among the nation's elementary and secondary schools. More than 1 million students now take classes online -- a 47 percent increase from two years ago. The vast majority of American school districts are providing some form of online learning and more plan to do so within the next three years. Michigan has become the first state to require an online course for graduation.
The King’s Academy, an authentically Christian and academically excellent school with a 40 year tradition of helping parents raise Christian leaders, has expanded its ministry by offering The King’s Academy Online, a robust online high school, which includes 140 dual-enrollment college courses. Students who are currently enrolled at our Belvedere and Clewiston campuses in grades 9 through 12, will be able to access Advanced Placement, Honors and regular classes online, as well as the dual enrollment college courses. Students attending school elsewhere in grades 7 through 12 will have the chance to experience quality Christian education through The King’s Academy Online course of studies.
The King’s Academy Online courses will also be available for summer school.
Every online class is taught by a highly qualified Christian teacher, and all courses meet or exceed standards set by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the North American Council for Online Learning (NACOL). Student enrollment and student progress will be supervised by The King’s Academy’s administration.
It’s important to remember that successfully accomplishing online coursework requires diligence, self-discipline and the ability to work independently. Students enrolling in The King’s Academy Online should do so only after carefully considering the commitment necessary for success.
